Purpose:
This role will be responsible for driving growth in an assigned area in close collaboration with local distribution partners and impacting future account strategies and success.
We are searching for the best talent for Ass. Director Sales LATAM based in Mexico City.
You will be responsible for:
Key tasks and responsibilities in the region:
Clinical support for Abiomed Impella technology in the Cathlab and Surgical Suite
Developing a commercial and clinical sales plan to achieve assigned growth and revenue objectives, ensuring maximum sales volume of the company’s products and services
Managing sales negotiations with Distribution partners
Training of our Distribution partners and hospitals in the region in close collaboration with our regional LATAM Trainer
Building relationships with key decision-makers and KOLs in LATAM
Developing strategies to launch new accounts and increase penetration in existing accounts all in close collaboration with our partners
Establishing effective communication with leaders and managers throughout the company to ensure appropriate sensitivity to sales needs
Participating in scientific conferences, congresses, and trade shows in LATAM, Europe and the US
Maintaining professional expenses in accordance with company guidelines
Demonstrating strong work ethics and representing the company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism
Ability to travel 80% within the required region
Qualifications / Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree with a clinical background and at least 5 years of experience in the medical device field, specifically in cardiovascular
Ability to obtain cooperation from others
Ability to negotiate and influence senior executives on important organizational issues
Native Spanish and fluent English. Portuguese is a plus
Strategic sales skills, ability to exercise judgment in selection, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results,
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively, and proficiency in English.
Safe Fleet Requirements:
Since this position is eligible for Company Car as a working tool, it is also required:
Valid driver’s license.
At least 3 years of driving a car experience, preferably in highway zones (between 80 and 110 km/h) and with standard vehicles.
