The Associate Director, Product Management will be responsible for driving the overall product service for IQVIA’s Core Information and Patient RWD product offerings , with the potential for expansion into other Patient RWD products.

Responsibilities include driving market & supplier events requiring impacts, guidance, & client facing product news & FAQs, client facing go-to-market PPT overviews & fact sheets, roadmap enhancements & changes, partnership on investment cases, pricing guidelines & calculators, and all things privacy & compliance (TPAs, Data Disclosures etc.).  Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on-time is a necessity for this position.    

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert contact for assigned offering(s), ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions to the market.    
  • Collaborate with product strategy, product development, sales, and service teams to sell and support the right solutions.
  • Maintain go-to-market (GTM) content, including internal and external PowerPoint training materials and fact sheets. 
  • Partner with Sales Leads and Sr. Leadership on whitespace and discount packages (i.e., Sales contests).
  • Drive market and supplier events, by performing due diligence and making critical business decisions, and ensuring client facing product news and FAQs are completed.
  • Lead bi-annual roadmap enhancements and changes roll-out, including priority focus areas, summarizing new data, and training the client facing teams (i.e., CDH, COAEs) to better equip them to speak about exciting upcoming roadmap items.
  • Product service lead for multiple ongoing marketing and operational tasks, including attending and making critical decisions in weekly stakeholder forums, assisting Sales with product unblocking efforts, and privacy matters.
  • Identify product opportunities across regions, business lines, Consulting, and/or Services.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year product life cycle plans to enhance product visibility, value and utility. 
  • Create business cases quantifying revenue and costs for product marketing strategies.
  • Manage product mix, minimizing risks associated with product transitions and/or cannibalization. 
  • Recommend and negotiate budgets for GTM strategies, clarifying roles and preparing the business case to secure necessary resources.    
  • Liaise with clients, independently or with sales, to support product needs. 
  • Serve as the product expert within the organization, ensuring relevant audiences are educated. 
  • Develop and execute market conditioning plans, identifying thought leadership topics.   
  • Achieve business line objectives and ensure plan execution.     
  • Leverage interdependencies with other stakeholders to meet business line goals.
  • Provide input on recovery, contingency and mitigation plans, recommending adjustments for market, corporate or other impacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree highly preferred. 
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of prior relevant experience (marketing, support/delivery, business solutions).
  • IQVIA systems and/or pharmaceutical industry knowledge required.
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.
  • Demonstrated success building effective relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior leaders, associates, offering development, data science, data management, delivery, and clients.
  • Thorough understanding of the use of IQVIA’s data and products in the customer environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Good understanding of the use of technology in Decision Support required.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, project management and planning skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,600.00 - $248,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
