Labcorp is seeking a Sr. Manager, Compensation Strategy & Analytics to join our team in Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead compensation initiatives at division level that support growth, transformation, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Assess compensation risks, trade-offs, and opportunities; provide clear recommendations grounded in data and market insight.
  • Contribute to compensation philosophy, governance frameworks, and decision guidelines.
  • Lead development of compensation and workforce analytics used in executive reviews, planning cycles, and leadership decision-making.
  • Create executive-ready materials that synthesize complex data into concise insights, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Build scenario models and forward-looking analyses to support strategic decisions (e.g., growth, restructuring, pay positioning).
  • Integrate compensation data with financial and workforce inputs to support enterprise planning discussions.
  • Support strategic pay equity and pay transparency analyses in partnership with Legal and HR.
  • Ensure compensation insights and recommendations are defensible, compliant, and aligned with governance standards.
  • Monitor external market, regulatory, and talent trends and assess impact on compensation strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and functional leaders on complex compensation topics.
  • Partner with Compensation Operations and HR Analytics to ensure strategic insights are scalable and actionable.
  • Mentor and guide analysts or managers contributing to compensation analytics and insights.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 or more years of experience in sales analytics, strategic planning

  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders with data‑driven insights
  • Background in enterprise or matrixed organizations with complex governance
  • Experience integrating compensation, financial, and workforce data
  • Exposure to pay equity, pay transparency, or regulatory compliance work
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Advanced analytical thinking and business problem‑solving
  • Strong judgment in navigating risk, trade‑offs, and governance
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
  • Financial and commercial understanding of incentive effectiveness
  • Credible advisor to senior leaders and HR partners
  • Change leadership and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • High standards for compliance, accuracy, and defensibility
  • Collaborative mindset across HR, Finance, Legal, and Analytics

  • Advanced skills in excel, Alteryx, Access Database and Power Apps
  • Experience with compensation tool, specifically Varicent
  • In-office hybrid, 3 days per week
  • Less than 10% travel

The Senior Manager, Compensation Strategy & Analytics partners with senior leaders to help shape enterprise compensation strategy through advanced analytics and executive‑level insights. The role focuses on solving complex compensation questions, translating business strategy into data‑driven recommendations, and enabling confident leadership decisions.

This position drives commercial strategy and incentive effectiveness across Diagnostics by delivering enterprise‑level insights, improving return on incentive investment, and ensuring compensation programs align with business priorities, growth objectives, and governance standards.
