DESCRIPTION

Accenture’s Security Practice is one of the fastest growing areas of the business with significant growth plans through additional recruitment and acquisitions. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented GRC Consultant to join our team.As a GRC Consultant, you will specialize in conducting Security Maturity Assessments for client organizations. Your primary responsibility is to evaluate, benchmark, and enhance the security posture of clients by identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and supporting the implementation of best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Maturity Assessments:
    Conduct comprehensive evaluations of security and regulatory ( GDPR, NISD/2, AI, DORA) requirements using established frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Mitre). Across both on-prem and cloud environments. Assess current maturity levels across governance, risk management, compliance, and technical controls.
  • Develop Assessment Methodologies:
    Customise and apply maturity models to fit client environments, considering industry-specific risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Gap Analysis & Roadmap Creation:
    Identify gaps between current and target maturity levels. Develop actionable roadmaps and recommendations to improve security controls, processes, and culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with client leadership, IT, OT and business teams to gather evidence, conduct interviews, and validate assessment findings.
  • Reporting & Presentation:
    Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, clearly communicating assessment results, risk findings, and prioritized recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay informed about emerging threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in security maturity and risk management.
  • Support Remediation & Transformation:
    Advise clients on implementing recommended improvements, including policy updates, technical controls, and awareness programs.

Qualifications: .

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent (highly desirable).
  • Proven experience in security maturity assessments, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIS, DORA, AI).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills Requirement:

  • Experience in conducting security assessments and audits, including TPRM.
  • Familiarity with maturity models and benchmarking tools.
  • Understanding of cloud security and data protection measures.
  • Knowledge and experience of EU Security regulations across industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and experience dealing with clients, management, and senior stakeholders
