Your Purpose: 

As the Mechatronics Project Leader, your purpose will be to design innovative software solutions, UI/UX to serve the equipment and machinery for the company. 

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Designing new electrical/firmware/software (major focus) and mechanical (minor focus) technology for future company growth 

  • Researching and leveraging new technology into Unifiller ecosystem. 

  • Leading continuous improvement projects for products under development 

  • Leading customer projects that require highly customized solutions 

  • Testing new technologies and equipment 

  • Ensuring timelines and costs for projects are achieved 

  • Writing documentation for newly developed equipment such as instruction manuals, risk assessments, etc. 

  • And you may be asked to carry out other duties as assigned 

 

What your qualifications are: 

  • You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechatronics or in Electrical Engineering (with mechanical aptitude) 

  • Fluent in C# or similar languages 

  • Firmware development experience an asset 

  • Proficiency in Unity is preferred, but other UI/UX platforms will be considered 

  • Familiarity with 3d vision technology, practical hands on is an asset 

  • Bluetooth experience, preferably industrial applications 

  • You are proficient in SolidWorks or similar software 

  • You are open to learning how to use Microsoft Teams, Wrike, Made2Manage (ERP), and Adept (Document Control). If you already know how to use them, that’s a plus! 

  • You love to learn, and we love to train! 

  • You can communicate clearly and are willing to think outside the box and want to be part of a team.
