Job Description Summary

What impact you'll make?

As a member of Gas Power’s Global Supply Chain Sourcing Finance team you will be responsible for partnering with Sourcing, Engineering and Manufacturing organizations to drive and execute product cost out (margin accretion) and cash flow improvement while maintaining strong performance in fulfillment and quality. This Sourcing Finance Logistics & Projects Cost leader partners with the Sourcing and Sourcing Finance Leader, the Global Supply Chain CFO in order to drive sourcing finance cost optimization, control over indirect spend, logistics deflation, projects costs as well as maximize vendor recovery opportunities.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for planning and forecasting of sourcing $100M+ functional costs.  Support planning cycles as well as monthly and quarterly pacing in partnership with Sourcing CFO and Sourcing GMs. Alignment with sourcing organization to tie financial reporting to operational and business dynamics and partnering with GSC FP&A to ensure alignment at GSC level.
  • Ensuring rigor on Capex / OpenX budget allocations and utilization.
  • Partner with the Logistics GM for planning, forecast and pace inflation / deflation metrics for over $300M of logistics costs; maintain the operational rhythm for tracking spend for inbound, parts, repairs and outbound cost flows while supporting variance analysis vs plan and identification of R&Os.
  • Control and report savings and inflation/deflation of Heavy Duty New Units, Aero and generator projects sourcing and delivery of spend $4B.. Understand drivers and provide in-depth analysis for operations and business stakeholders for EAC process. Drive process changes for more reliable forecasting and planning.
  • Drive Vendor Recovery and Claims monthly calls. Guide proper accounting for VR and coordinate with Projects and Warranty teams. Ensure proper Bank Accounts and treasury considerations are applied.Responsible for financial reporting of indirect sourcing accounts $1.2B of spend. Ensuring alignment with indirect sourcing organization on savings reporting by driving triangulation between ledger and cost out reporting and bridging variances gaps. Act as financial owner for indirect sourcing indicatives and supporting financial cases and validation of top opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, accounting, economics topics or related fields

  • Fluency in English is essential
