In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing safety, quality, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing processes.
Your Responsibilities:
Metal Fabrication Expertise:
Utilize your experience in metal fabrication, including welding, CNC punching, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and bending centers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and ensure high-quality output.
Problem Solving:
Investigate technical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
Establish and follow best practices and standard operating procedures.
Process Optimization:
Analyze manufacturing process flows and related data to enhance safety, quality, and cost reduction.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve throughput.
Technology Evaluation:
Evaluate new process technologies to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
Lead testing activities and collaborate with external suppliers.
Capital Projects:
Define and execute capital expenditure (CapEx) initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
CAD and CAM Operations:
Use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to design and optimize production layouts, tooling, and fixtures for maximum productivity.

Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and methodologies such as Kaizen, 4Q, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, DMAIC, and Gemba.
Work authorization permitting employment in the United States.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL databases and data management to analyze process data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification from an accredited organization is a plus.
