  • Implement automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure issues, including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resiliency.

  • Quickly learn new technologies, including container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks.

  • Serve as an on-site subject matter expert, addressing technical, development, or IT strategic needs.

  • Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open-source solutions.

  • Adapt to changing customer demands.

  • Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.

  • Deliver quality results both on-site and post-engagement, within the assigned project's timeline and scope, including project logs, status reports, and other standard documentation.

  • Participate in sales and proposal presentations as needed, in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Docker, or any other container-related technologies and PaaS.

  • 2+ years of scripting or programming experience.

  • Knowledge of systems management, including installation, custom channels, virtualized system deployment, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds.

The following are considered a plus:

  • Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Tower, and other Red Hat products.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including Agile (e.g., Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental.

  • Agile and DevOps mindsets are desired. Willingness to study and learn agile practices.

  • Red Hat certifications.

  • Fluency in Spanish.
