About the team and the role:

  • eBay is seeking an experienced people leader, a strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator, a strategic problem solver able to drive process and system improvements!
  • As the Director of Global Markets Finance Consolidation team, you will be a key finance leader in our world-class finance organization. You will be a thought-leader and strategic partner to the Global Markets leadership team and oversee Global markets Financial Planning and Analysis functions.

What you will accomplish:

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful forecasting, reporting and financial guidance for the markets senior leadership (Finance VP’s and SVP, ELT member / head of GMX Global Markets Experiences) to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business.
  • Provide leadership in managing the Global Markets financial budgeting, forecasting as well as close and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Drive Global Finance Markets process improvements, lead implementation of financial tools, and building organizational capability.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship over core processes building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables.
  • Standardize and drive consistency in financial planning processes and strive for continuous improvement, identify, and execute on opportunities to reduce non-value-added work.
  • Serve as a value-added business partner & challenger interacting and providing financial planning and decision support to business stakeholders.
  • Partner with the eBay’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
  • Influence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and team members.
  • Mentor and coach teammates by instilling standard processes across finance.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$195,200 - $260,600

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
