About The Job

The Technical Scrum Lead partners with technology and product teams to drive Agile delivery, improve execution, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role focuses on facilitating Agile ceremonies, enabling high‑performing teams, and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced technology environment.

This is a delivery and facilitation role and is ideal for an experienced Scrum Lead who can confidently guide teams, remove obstacles, and adapt Agile practices to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on Agile best practices to support high‑performing technology delivery teams, ensuring work is aligned to defined goals and priorities.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

  • Enable team learning and continuous improvement by coaching teams on Agile and Scrum principles and adapting processes as needed.

  • Partner with product owners, technical leaders, and management to define, prioritize, and deliver technology‑related outcomes.

  • Maintain transparency with stakeholders around scope, priorities, dependencies, delivery timelines, and risks, addressing concerns as they arise.

  • Support the integration of changing customer inputs and business conditions into Agile delivery plans.

  • Identify trade‑offs between short‑term deliverables and long‑term value to support shared decision‑making.

  • Apply Agile frameworks to improve the effectiveness, predictability, and quality of technology delivery.

  • Identify and help remove blockers impacting team execution or architectural work.

  • Contribute to cross‑team initiatives, special projects, and other delivery‑related efforts as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of three years related work experience. Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational technology projects preferred.

  • Proven experience supporting technology delivery teams in Agile environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum practices.

  • Hands‑on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

  • Understanding of technical concepts and terminology (no coding required).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across product, technology, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in financial services or enterprise technology environments.

  • Familiarity with Kanban or SAFe frameworks.

  • Experience working with DevOps or cloud‑based delivery teams.

  • Scrum or Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or similar).
