Role profile

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, Business Continuity Management, Internal Control and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.

In this department, Operational Risk & Business Continuity Management (BCM) team is covering the second line of defense function on Risk for IT, Cybersecurity, Human Ressources, Procurement and other transversal departments, as well as maintaining the appropriate Business Continuity maturity in the group. The stakeholders are located in all Euronext entities (Paris, Porto, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen…).

Working as Business Continuity Officer, the successful candidate will be engaged in all areas of the business part of Euronext group and will mainly focus in IT and Cybersecurity resilience across the Group.

He/She will integrate a team of Risk and BCM expert and can leverage on their expertise and knowledge of the organisation.

He/She will support the team in the monitoring and deployment of the BCM and crisis management Roadmap as well as the Digital Testing Strategy (in line with DORA regulation) one. Them will work closely with Risk Management and IT and Cybersecurity teams to insure good level of resilience toward the organisation and its entities.

Key Accountabilities

Business Continuity and Crisis Management

  • Ensure good dialogue with Euronext Group and all the Euronext Entities through BCM managers in entities
  • Conduct impact analysis campaigns for the key business areas assigned to you.
  • Assist in preparing and facilitating crisis management exercises.
  • Drive Creation, live testing and improvement of Euronext Business Continuity plan and crisis management plan.

Digital Operational Testing Strategy

  • Provide guidance and oversight for IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Continuity and crisis management tests as part of the Testing Strategy (aligned with DORA regulation).
  • Assist IT teams in scoping and defining test parameters in alignment with critical assets from Business Impact analysis campaign.

BCM Tool Optimization

  • Develop KPIs and conduct maturity assessments for Crisis Management and Operational Resilience.
  • Pilot automation initiatives for tracking BCM metrics and aligning risk and internal control process.
  • Facilitate synchronization between the BCM database and the IT Central database

Reporting

  • Act as a junior PMO for the Digital Testing Strategy follow-up committee and BCM initiatives, ensure tasks are well-coordinated and deadlines are met.
  • Prepare presentations for committees with senior management
  • Contribute to periodic reporting on BCM and CM posture, major incident and key metrics

Required Skills & Experience

Education and Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of higher education in Risk management, crisis management, geopolitics, political sciences, or cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • Entry-level knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity concepts, and business continuity management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with standards and best practices such as ISO 223001, ISO 27001, NIST
  • Understanding of financial regulation (e.g., MIFID, DORA, NIS 2) is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluent in English (daily use); French is a nice-to-have.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to summarize complex information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
