Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Secure annual gifts of all levels and major gifts ($5,000 and above) for the University.
• Assist with planning, and the implementation of said plans, to work with the entire Development Office and Directors to coordinate visits and events directed for fundraising or cultivation purposes.
• Working with other Regional Centers and the Development Office, help to coordinate development events at Regional Education Centers.
• Assist with and work with all volunteer boards
• Assist with the Church Outreach operations and support the growth of the Church Outreach Program.
• Assist in the development of specific annual, major and campaign goals and objectives.
• Assist whenever needed, with the planning, and the implementation of said plans, for all other special events hosted, sponsored or under the direction of the Office of Development.
• Be proficient in the use of software as a presentation and marketing tool.
• Be able to manage a budget for specific development events.
• Should make between 120-140 personal calls per year.
• Provide reports on cultivation and solicitation of prospective and current donors.
• As a member of the development staff you may be asked to be involved in one or more of these programs Planned Giving, Marketing, Communications, Regional Centers.

• Assist and be knowledgeable with Estate Planning and any Planned Gift

• Work with the Covenant Society Membership.
•Extensive traveling, to include overnight.
•Work some nights and weekends.
•Confidentiality is a must.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree. 

Additional Information:

• Must have good organizational and communication skills.  

• Must be willing to do extensive traveling, including some overnight travel. 

• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the position.
