Summary We are seeking an experienced CC&B Configurator - Rates Specialist to support and enhance our Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing rate structures and billing logic within CC&B to support utility billing operations. This role requires deep knowledge of CC&B’s pricing and rate engine and an analytical mindset to handle complex business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements related to utility rates and billing logic. • Design and configure rates, bill determinants, and algorithms within the Oracle CC&B application. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate billing requirements. • Develop configuration specifications and documentation. • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of rate-related issues. • Work closely with technical teams for integrations, enhancements, and support. • Support end-users during UAT and production deployments. • Maintain configuration version control and documentation. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to utility rates and tariffs. • Participate in system upgrades and patching activities impacting rate configuration. Professional & Technical Skills: • Strong knowledge of CC&B pricing and billing engine, rate algorithms, and zone configurations. • Knowledge of CC&B scripting (OUAF, Groovy, etc.) • Ability to analyze and interpret utility tariffs and translate them into CC&B configurations. • Experience with SQL and data analysis related to billing and rates. • Familiarity with CC&B modules such as Billing, Customer Information, and Metering. • Understanding of utility billing processes (water, gas, electric preferred). • Strong communication and documentation skills. Additional Information • 6 to 10 years of Experience with at least 2 to 3 projects implementation experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework . • Minimum 15 years of full-time education Degree in Engineering will be a plus • This position is based at our Bangalore office.
