VCT Manufacturing Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to support the areas of process development, process implementation, process improvement and cost reductions in VCT (Valuable Cam Timing )assembly process.

The individual will serve as a technical resource for manufacturing, product engineering, maintenance and quality; and will work within teams to ensure the most effective operation of our processes.

BACKGROUND

Fluent or Business level Japanese capability is needed.

Background of mechanical engineering, understanding of basic mechanical engineering skill and experience for mechanical design are required. At the same time knowledge of electrical skill will be preferable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Considering machine specifications, installation and launch.
  • Mechanical design work by using 2D/3D CAD.
  • Trouble shoot problems encountered in current production processes
  • Generate ideas and complete actions to reduce costs on production.
  • Work on issues to eliminate problems by identifying root cause and provide solutions.
  • Ensure that all processes are well organized.
  • Assist in product launches.
