Job Summary

The Integration Consultant provides services and deliverables in accordance with the CDK’s productized service offerings to customers (vendors, dealers, OEMs, internal CDK teams) developing software solutions that integrate with CDK applications through APIs.  The Integration Consultant performs discovery and analysis activities, evaluates potential solutions, and provides their findings and recommendations in the form of written deliverables to customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates discovery working sessions with customers to understand their application integration requirements and documents findings.
  • Performs analysis and testing of APIs using API testing tools to evaluate methods for achieving the desired outcomes of an application workflow or use case as defined by the customer requirements.
  • Works individually or partners with colleagues to identify process workflow gaps and create solutions.
  • Provides technical consulting services customers and internal CDK teams to help them overcome the challenges faced in developing application integration with CDK applications.
  • Ensures that the customer’s integrated applications are using CDK APIs effectively and according to established best practices via certification testing.  Expected to be able to work with multiple customers in various stages of the certification process concurrently.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members to minimize time-to-value for the customer.
  • Provides product feedback and ideas for product improvements into Product Management
  • Acquires and maintains in-depth knowledge of integrated CDK applications.
  • Contributes to the collective knowledge base by submitting documentation of their research and findings.
  • Serves as an escalation point for production support issues escalated by Customer Care.
  • Contributes to efforts to continuously improve organizational processes, such as the identification and documentation of standards and best practices related to the activities of their role.
  • Develops strong working relationships with cross-functional team members.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work independently on multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
