At every point of care, from the emergency department to community healthcare, Stryker’s Medical division provides innovative technology, support and service to help simplify health care delivery with safety and efficiency.

We’re looking for a talented, highly motivate sales professional who will be responsible for driving Stryker’s ‘Sage’ business in the territory of Midlands and Oxford.

You will be working as part of a high calibre, performance driven sales team, who’s passion for improving outcomes help make the lives of patients and the people who care for them, better.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing an effective territory sales strategy to maintain existing business, as well as driving growth with new sales opportunities.

  • Delivering annual sales targets as well as other key performance objectives

  • Building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS or private medical sector; these include, tissue viability, infection control, speech and language therapists, nursing staff as well as procurement and finance professionals

  • Conducting product demonstrations and training for clinical staff

  • Reporting on your sales activities on a regular basis to the RSM

  • Attending and participating in key professional congresses and events

  • Maintaining and acquiring new product, technology, market knowledge
     

Experience

  • A BSc in a relevant discipline is preferred, although not essential and/or relevant Sales/Clinical work experience

  • Proven track record of success in sales within the NHS (desired) or a strong understanding of the NHS through a clinical role

  • Experience in customer acquisition and proven ability to grow new business

  • Knowledge and experience in a commercial sales background is preferred

  • Ability to build long-term, strategic relationships and a service orientated mindset

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Must live within the defined territory, this is a field-based sales role, therefore involves a significant amount of travel (80%)
