The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. Wages start at $20 per hour and based upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.

  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.

  • Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material needs and discrepancies.

  • Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory software.

  • Completes other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced warehouse or production setting.

  • May involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity.
