Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Technician to join our team! In this role you will perform basic to moderately complex CAD drafting assignments, converting engineering notes, specifications, and sketches into accurate working drawings under the guidance of senior designers/drafters.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare engineering drawings (arrangements, layouts, assemblies, isometrics, etc.) from sketches and design information in accordance with established standards and procedures.

• Apply technical manuals and directives to ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and company requirements.

• Compile data and perform routine dimensional checks/calculations to support drawing preparation.

• Assist with design documentation by interpreting 2D/3D drawings and supplier/manufacturer drawings.

• Maintain drawing quality and support revisions/updates as required.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with relevant coursework in mathematics and drafting.

• Minimum 2+ years related CAD drafting experience.

• Working knowledge of CAD and drafting standards, practices, and techniques.

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with design/drafting software used in assignments.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Experience working on engineering or infrastructure-related projects.

• Familiarity with 2D/3D drafting and interpretation of supplier/manufacturer drawings.
