What You Will Do:
• Develop, implement and manage cyber security policies to project the organization’s IT infrastructure and data from threats and vulnerabilities
• Identify, assess and mitigate potential cyber threats through the use of advanced cyber security tools and techniques. Continuously monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents as needed.
• Design, implement and manage secure network topologies, ensuring that network security measures are robust and effective
• Utilize intrusion detection systems to monitor and defend the network against unauthorized access, breaches and other cyber threats
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Management: Oversee the deployment and management of PKI systems, ensuring secure communication and data exchange within the organization
• Ensure that all network environments are secure and compliant with industry standards. Implement and manage security levels and roles necessary for the secure deployment of IT systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, tools and best practices. Continuously enhance security protocols to safeguard the organization’s assets
What You Will Need:
• Bachelors degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other technical discipline
• Extensive IT experience, TEN years (10 years) with a strong focus on cyber security, including policy development, threat mitigation, and security management
• Proficient in using advanced cybersecurity tools for threat detection, mitigation, and network protection
• In-depth knowledge of network topologies and the implementation of secured networks to protect against cyber threats
• Experience with intrusion detection systems and techniques to monitor detect and prevent unauthorized access to IT systems
• Expertise in managing and deploying PKI systems to ensure secure communication and data integrity
• Proven ability to implement security levels and roles necessary for the successful deployment of secure IT environments
What Would Be Nice To Have:
• Relevant certifications such as CIS SP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable
• Experience in incident response and management with the ability to swiftly and effectively address security breaches
• Strong skills in conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate identified risks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and other stakeholders to enhance the organization's security posture
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about the latest cybersecurity developments and emerging threats
