Electrical Engineer Student – Lab Systems – Engineering Department

The role of an Electrical Engineering Student within the Lab Systems is to support in the design and implementation of electrical equipment and software to perform automotive grade testing. A level of good technical knowledge is required in order to support in the design of cost-effective solutions and upgrade existing systems; this includes PCB Design and Harness Development. The interested candidate needs to show a can-do attitude, enjoy technical challenges, work in a dynamic environment and is open to learn new concepts and skills on the job.

Requirements:

• Undergoing a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A passion for hands-on engineering
• Experience with some programming language Java, C, C++, Python, R
• Knowledge of LabVIEW and Matlab will be considered an asset.
• Tenacious and challenging, combining maturity with an energised attitude.
• Knowledge of PCB Design
