Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code using Java Standard Edition. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using Java Standard Edition. - Analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems, and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, and ensure adherence to software development best practices. - Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work on multiple components of application code across one or more clients. - Ensure timely delivery of software components, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Java Standard Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Data Analysis & Interpretation. - Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies. - Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software problems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Standard Edition. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
