Description:

Nurse Practitioner – Palliative Care Inpatient Medicine– Full Time – Days 

  

Palliative care at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital means tackling complex cases involving goals of care discussions and end of life discussions, to deliver quality patient centered care with a finely tuned collaborative team. Our faculty team consists of Attendings from the section of Geriatrics and Palliative Care Medicine.  Our patient centered approach supports patients, their families and the primary care team caring for the patient. The Advanced Practitioner for Palliative Care is responsible for planning, evaluating, managing, and delivering patient centered palliative care. You will be a vital member of this team. Your direction and coordination will deeply impact the delivery of quality patient care to our patients.  

  

Preferred Criteria: 

• Previous NP or RN experience preferred 

Required Criteria 

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner specialty with a NYS Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner License
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association

$162,776-$180,201/Annual
