About the Role

As a Software QA Engineer on the Localization team, you will help deliver high-quality products for global markets. Your responsibilities will include automating the testing of localized products across all platforms (Windows, iOS, Android, Mac, and Web-based) and collaborating with external vendors, internal stakeholders, and your team to ensure our localized content meets the highest standards.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for localization testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and share inputs to help improve the development process.
  • Participate in regular code reviews to maintain the quality of automated test scripts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for localization and QA automation.

  • What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 – 5 years of testing experience with a strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one automation testing tool (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with defect tracking and management tools.
