Job Description

Cat Digital is the digital and technology arm of Caterpillar Inc., responsible for bringing world-class digital capabilities to our products and services. With over one million connected assets worldwide, we're focused on using IoT and other data, technology, advanced analytics and AI capabilities to help our customers build a better world.

This is the intern position in Cat Digital China team. The team is responsible for End-to-End Telematics application and supporting.

JOB PURPOSE:

To support Telematics expert and/or follow working guidance to fulfill specific assignments.

JOB DUTIES:

• Visit websites to check machine/data status, update status following working guidance.
• Summarize machine/ data and generate graphs.
• Other assignments from leaders.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

• Major in Electrical Engineering or Computer science
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Good to Excellent in English (oral & written)
• Diligent, proactive, self-motived and open-minded
• Creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
• Excellent in understand new technology and learning attitude

Top candidates will have:

• At least one software skill of Python, C++ etc.
• Coding or formular application capability
• At least 4 days/ week, 5 months and above duration is preferred
