About Us:
At Parafin, our mission is to grow small businesses.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, yet banks do not have their back. Parafin is a technology company that builds infrastructure which enables small businesses to get easy access to financial services via platforms they sell on. Parafin's first set of products offer capital-as-a-service for online platforms. Parafin currently powers the capital programs for platforms and payment processors ranging from Series B to post-IPO companies such as DoorDash, Amazon, Worldpay, Mindbody, Fullsteam, Guesty, Xplor, and Quilt.
We are a tight-knit team coming from organizations such as Stripe, Square, Plaid, Coinbase, Robinhood, Affirm, Uber, and CERN, and are excited both about helping small businesses grow and thrive, and build products that leaders at top companies have started to use every day to grow their platforms. We are backed by prominent venture capitalists such as Ribbit Capital, Thrive Capital, GIC, Index Ventures, Green Oaks Capital, and SV Angel and have raised more than $94M in equity and $200M in debt.
About the Position
We are expanding our GTM Engineering team and seeking an Integration Engineer (Post-sales) to act as a technical point of contact to support our platform partners. Your primary responsibilities will include driving partner integrations for Parafin's capital solutions and delivering ongoing technical account management. You will leverage your technical expertise to help solve the most difficult partner problems and influence Parafin’s product direction. You will play a pivotal role in building out a scalable and best-in-class technical post-sales function. You will work closely with platform growth, product, and engineering.
Join us and drive Parafin’s growth!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Act as the main technical liaison for platform partners, guiding them through onboarding and new product integrations by providing comprehensive support.
Be the voice for our partners internally - collaborate with product and engineering to improve Parafin's platform offerings, using valuable partner feedback to drive product enhancements.
Conduct engaging, informative onboarding and education sessions to support seamless partner integrations.
Scale technical onboarding with a focus on reducing the time to integrate with Parafin products. This can include owning and building internal or partner-facing tools to streamline onboarding.
Document integration requirements and processes (internally and for partners), ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of support as our partner portfolio scales.
Provide ongoing technical account management post-launch - optimizing integrations, expanding product usage, and monitoring and swiftly resolving integration-related challenges.
Act as the central point of contact for identifying and debugging critical technical issues, coordinating prompt resolutions between internal teams and platform partners. Where necessary, provide tailored solutions to meet partners’ integration needs.
What We’re Searching For:
5+ years of experience in client-facing technical roles, preferably in software integration, technical partner support or technical account management
Strong engineering background with fluency in at least 2 programming languages a plus (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency with integration technologies, such as REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a partner-focused approach. You have a demonstrated background of relentlessly raising the bar for great partner experience.
Great intuition for navigating standard/generalizable vs. custom partner solutions and guiding partners toward the optimal approach that considers both partner needs and engineering resourcing.
Comfortable exploring and navigating Parafin's codebase, particularly with proficiency in React, Scala, and Python.
Proven experience in creating working demos and production applications, showcasing your ability to apply technical skills to practical use cases
Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to evolving requirements and priorities
Demonstrated passion for helping small businesses grow and succeed, showing genuine dedication to the success of our partners.
Proficiency in crafting clear technical documentation for effective knowledge sharing, troubleshooting, and best practice distribution to internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of our industry’s best practices for integration and post-sales support.
Familiarity with SQL preferred but not required
Experience working in Fintech is a plus
