Job Description:

Job Title: Infrastructure Services 

Job Level: JL14, JL11, JL9, JL8 

Technical Level: L1, L2, L3, L4  

Reports to: ITO Service Delivery Lead / Supervisor  

 

Profile 

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent courses. 

Has knowledge or understanding of IT Application Operations 

Graduate of IT Course or related Courses. 

Knowledge of ITIL  

Has 2 years experience supporting application Technologies such as Unix, Python, Scripting, and Ansible 

 

 

Technical Level 1 and 2 Responsibilities 

Administration of Incidents or Requests related to Unix, Python, Scripting, and Ansible  

Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Python, Wrappers - OEM, Non-Stop, Windows SQL Server, Oracle, Hardware Dell and HPE, and Ansible 

Communicate and Coordinate with internal teams to understand incidents and provide technical solutions 

ServiceNow Monitoring, Incident and Change management  

Runbook Documentation and Reporting 

Problem Management on recurring issues  

Availability Management and ITIL activities 

 

Technical Level 3 or 4 Responsibilities  

Write effective, scalable code 

Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance 

Test and debug programs 

Improve functionality of existing systems 

Troubleshooting of Major or Complex Python, Wrappers - OEM, Non-Stop, Windows SQL Server, Oracle, Hardware Dell and HPE, and Ansible 

Runbook Documentation and Reporting 

Problem Management on recurring issues  

Availability Management 

 

 

 

Core Competencies: 

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree 

  • Worked with a team and acted as a good team player 

  • Led or performed primary support role for one or more service or technology area 

  • For Level1 and 2 Minimum of 1-2 years experience in providing support to customers using incident, requests, problem and change management 

  • For technical Level 3 and 4 Minimum of 4 years experience on Python Development, Windows and/or Unix platforms is preferred 

  • Background in ITIL process is preferred 

  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills 

  • Familiarity and Expertise in at least one popular Python framework
