Job Summary

The Human Resource Assistant serves as a general office assistant and provides clerical support to Human Resources department. Provides front office receptionist support and maintains a high level of customer service to all Associates and guests. Performs other general duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, this Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative support primarily in the area of talent acquisition and onboarding/pre-boarding, but may be assigned to cover in other areas as well (ex: cover Reception desk).

This is a Per Diem position, so the days/hours may vary, but will fall within a Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm schedule. The Per Diem HR Assistant will be called on to cover PTO for other Associates, as well as have scheduled weekly hours, so the ideal candidate will have flexibility in their schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Pay Range

Minimum $22.63 Midpoint $29.99 Maximum $37.34

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

Required: Minimum one year of prior experience working in Human Resources or two years in a customer service or office setting role.

Education

Required: BA/BS degree.

Specialized Skills

Required: Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette. Ability to keyboard 40 wpm. Ability to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position. Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Ability to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred: Workday, Kronos, Lawson HRIS experience.
