Overview:

Supports special handling lien release requests for paid in full residential/consumer mortgages. Use appropriate systems (TPX, MSP, Filenet, Public Records, and other internal systems) to support lien release requests. Communicate with business partners, borrowers, title companies, attorneys, or other representatives as required to support requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

• • Review and research requests from various channels (internal and external)
  • Communicate requestors throughout the release process.
  • Send documents to business partners, customers and third parties or to various jurisdictions for recording as instructed.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 1 year relevant work experience,
OR in lieu of a degree,
A combined minimum of 3 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including 1 years relevant work experience

1 year customer service experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree
3 years’ relevant work experience
