We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst – SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing packaged or SaaS applications to meet business needs while ensuring system stability and performance. As a subject matter expert in SAP ABAP, you will lead technical initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to key decisions that impact multiple teams. This position requires advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency and user satisfaction.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Application Configuration and Support:

• Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability.

• Utilize standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.

• Conduct regular assessments of system stability and implement necessary improvements to enhance application performance.

Solution Development and Innovation:

• Develop innovative solutions that improve application functionality, performance, and user experience.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational goals.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Facilitate training sessions for team members to ensure effective use of packaged applications and promote knowledge sharing.

• Provide solutions to complex problems that apply across multiple teams and drive impactful decisions.

Continuous Improvement and Industry Alignment:

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve application configurations and development processes.

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system performance and drive efficiency within the organization.

Subject Matter Expertise:

• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in SAP ABAP, providing guidance and technical expertise to the team.

• Lead technical initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business needs.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions and managing application configurations.

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP, including development, debugging, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with APIs, low-code platforms, and packaged/SaaS applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in system stability assessments.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to lead teams, facilitate training sessions, and drive decision-making processes.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Certifications: SAP ABAP certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile or other project management methodologies.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in SAP and enterprise systems.
