Job Description

We are recruiting on a Contract Basis for 1 year.

What is the opportunity? 

In this role you will be Responsible for the mitigation of operational/credit risk related to a variety of operational or administrative processes used to support RBC clients and sales and service partners. Manages a small team. You will also ensure compliance with Bank and government regulations (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering), legal requirements, RBC policies/process/procedures and limits, qualification and eligibility criteria, ensuring final accuracy verification.

What will you do?

  • Ensure all documents/data are examined for completeness and accuracy, and take appropriate steps to correct.
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to recurring errors and service gaps and act as a referral point/Subject Matter Expert for sales and service employees
  • Take ownership and accountability for the resolution of complex issues and concerns at the first point of contact, demonstrating a long-term perspective in addressing client concerns
  • Identify service/operational inefficiencies and make recommendations for value added enhancements to appropriate parties
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to recurring errors, service gaps and process efficiency and effectiveness enhancements and act as a referral point/Subject Matter Expert for sales and service employees
  • Support revenue growth by reducing revenue leakage and focusing on other opportunity spotting initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to Global Information Risk Management framework and Global Compliance mandated policies and procedures
  • Exercise due diligence in following operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Diploma in Management or related discipline or equivalent education/training in a related field
  • Very strong client first orientation
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to the demand/needs of our clients and service partners
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to details with strong organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Bank’s core applications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word + keyboarding skills
