Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications meet the needs of the users. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team members while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform feasibility checks on Salesforce Configurations. - Create integration designs with proper alignments with third party PoCs on field mapping and impacts . - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, detail, and analyze requirements aligned with business goals. - Conduct thorough data model analysis to ensure optimal design and fit within the Salesforce ecosystem. - Create clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria for Agile development. - Perform impact analysis related to changes in the existing data model, configurations, and system integrations. - Conduct functional reviews with the client’s Point of Contact (PoC) to validate and refine requirements. - Provide detailed walkthroughs of functional designs to developers and QA testers within the Scrum team. - Support Build, Data Migration, and Support teams by addressing functional and business-related queries. - Review test scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage of business requirements. - Review and validate regression test scripts to ensure system stability post-deployment. - Present user story demos to the client, gather feedback, and incorporate necessary adjustments. - Perform defect validation by analyzing reported issues and verifying resolutions align with expected functionality. - Maintain documentation related to system configurations. Professional & Technical Skills - Must have 5+ years of techno- functional experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud OR Service Cloud. - Must have basic Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst. - Additional Salesforce certifications on Sales/Service cloud are preferred. - Proficient in Salesforce administrative basics such as users, role hierarchy, Profiles, Permission sets, sharing rules. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Service Cloud. - A 15 years full time education is required.
