About This Opportunity  

The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the comprehensive delivery of diverse projects to transform UQ’s campuses. As the driving force behind our projects, you will:  

  • Lead project outcomes throughout the entire project life cycle, including initiation and planning. 

  • Create processes for monitoring and evaluation.  

  • Manage deliverables and communications.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement.

  • Coordinate procurement and contract negotiations.

  • Support project reporting requirements.

About You   

You will be an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex and/or cross-portfolio projects, ideally within a large and complex organisation. Your expertise will include applying best-practice project management methodologies tailored to the size, scale, scope and complexity of the projects you oversee and coordinating vendor selection, alignment and contract negotiations.  

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders. You will have demonstrated the ability to lead teams of professionals on major projects, combined with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work to tight deadlines while managing competing priorities. 

The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including criminal history check.
