Job Description
Job Summary:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to support new and existing product lines. This role focuses on identifying and implementing capacity improvement opportunities, conducting yield analysis, and leading yield improvement initiatives. The engineer defines equipment requirements and specifications, and evaluates processing techniques used in the manufacture, fabrication, and testing of products. Engagement may begin at any stage—from pre-production through full-scale manufacturing.
Under general direction, the engineer supports Camera Assembly Operations, developing and maintaining methods, sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. The role interfaces with design and systems engineering to coordinate the release of new products, estimates manufacturing costs, establishes time standards, and recommends tooling and process requirements for both new and existing product lines. It also includes maintaining documentation and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
This is a highly independent role with significant organizational impact, requiring data-driven decision-making to support operational success and company growth.
