PURPOSE:
Produce visual solutions to meet the communication needs of the stakeholders, by using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness based on concepts provided by the senior creative staff, branding guidelines, and various stakeholders. The Graphic Designer position will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and require occasion visits into the office as needed. They will support various brands within IQVIA including our Institute for Human Data Science sub-brand, R&DS and ad-hoc projects as they arise. This role will be part of IQVIA’s Brand & Creative Studio, a global team with various members located in the US, UK, India and Argentina.
REPONSIBILITIES:
- Exceptional visualization and creative thinking – Demonstrates strong conceptual skills and the ability to visualize abstract ideas into compelling designs. Brings fresh, innovative, and out-of-the-box thinking to every project, consistently pushing creative boundaries. Works independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and ownership.
- Idea-to-design translation – Skilled at interpreting verbal and written briefs, transforming complex ideas and business objectives into clear, engaging visual solutions. Understands how to distill key messages into impactful design elements.
- Visual identity expertise – Deep understanding of brand guidelines, corporate identity systems, and visual consistency. Ensures all designs align with brand standards while maintaining creativity and relevance across different platforms and audiences.
- Design software proficiency – Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Firefly) and presentation tools such as PowerPoint. Capable of producing high-quality assets for print, digital, and motion graphics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – Effectively communicates design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. Comfortable presenting work to internal teams and clients, and receptive to feedback. Collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and development.
- Stakeholder engagement – Understands project requirements and coordinates with onshore/offshore teams, actively participates in knowledge-sharing sessions, and contributes to strategic discussions to align design with business impact.
- High-quality visual creation – Conceptualizes and produces visually compelling designs across various formats including digital ads, social media graphics, infographics, presentations, and print collateral. Maintains high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Project and time management – Manages multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines. Uses project management tools and workflows to ensure timely delivery and efficient execution.
- Creative problem solving – Provides innovative design solutions to complex business challenges. Balances creativity with strategic thinking to deliver designs that resonate with target audiences and meet business objectives.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or similar degree.
- 3+ years of experience in creative or design within an agency or in-house creative team.
- Strong understanding of creative deliverables across design and digital production.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Digital portfolio required at time of application.
- Hybrid position that would require occasion trips into office locations and various in-person meetings as needed.
- Fluent English speaker - bilingual or professional proficiency.
