SALES & PRODUCT ADVISOR

Function: SALES & PRODUCT ADVISOR – SOUTHERN NETHERLANDS

As a Sales & Product Advisor, you are the face of ZEISS at the customer’s location. You are never in the same place; every day is different and offers a new challenge. You see opportunities and provide optimal advice and service to the customer. You are responsible for the activities in Southern Netherlands. The team of which you are a part consists of 6 sales colleagues, and you report directly to the Sales Manager Netherlands.

What does your day look like?
• You advise independent opticians on the ZEISS product portfolio (lenses & diagnostic instruments). In doing so, you are able to further develop and improve the sales results of your customers with the right product and the right actions;
• In addition, you provide technical support in the field of spectacle lenses/instruments and you share your knowledge during product demonstrations and trainings;
• You have an eye for new needs among existing customers for maximum customer satisfaction and you prospect new customers;
• You handle any incoming complaints and you resolve the problems at the opticians in your sales territory.

What do we expect from you?
• A completed optical education (MBO or HBO).
• At least 8 years of work experience in optics, at an optician, for example as a branch manager, an optical chain, or a manufacturer of spectacle lenses and/or contact lenses.
• Entrepreneurial mentality: able to think like an independent entrepreneur.
• Customer orientation: properly identifying customers’ wishes and needs and translating them into actions.
• Excellent social and communication skills.
• Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English.
• Category B driving license is required due to frequent travel to customers.
• Preferably living in the region of Southern Netherlands (Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Tilburg).
