Job Description

Sr. Growth Analyst

PG Ventures is an organization focused on creating 3 new categories for P&G, creating and launching brands to enter/disrupt those categories and growing those brands to $500MM in NOS. Our 1st brand is already in market and doubling in size every year. Our 2nd new category launches in JFM 25 and this role will play a critical role in leading the shopper and analytics work to grow those brands to $500MM in NOS.

Key role aspects include:

- Identify Pockets of Growth – Leverage retailer/customer data to identify what are the emerging pockets of growth and work with brand teams to action to close those gaps

- KBD’s/Merch Optimization – Merch optimization.  coupon optimization.  Trade fund optimization.

- Retailer Media –.  Creating smart audiences using Luminate data, serving those customers different ads/creative and seeing which messages drive conversion specifically at that customer

- Shopper Insights via Retailer Data/Platforms – Leverage retailer data (i.e. Walmart Luminate) to understand who is buying, when, where, why, etc. to define pivots we need to make to grow consumption faster

- Trends – what are the emerging trends and what pockets of growth does that create that we can partner on?

- Winning with AA/Multicultural – this is declared priority for most customers. Identify unique needs of these shoppers and how should my assortment/execution change in stores where these customers shop. 

Job Qualifications

Required

  • A Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems (or related degree)
  • 2-4+ years of related work experience
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.

 

Preferred:

  • Related full-time or internship experience with Consumer Packaged Goods, Media, Retailer, or e-Comm industry analytics
  • Data management and visualization skills / tools (SQL, KNIME, Spotfire, Power BI or similar)
  • Programming languages (Python, R, C+ or Java)
