Role Name: GNOC TechOps Engineer Job Description: As part of Network Operations, this role involves managing a Hybrid Enterprise network Infrastructure in line with business needs. A typical day includes working with Enterprise Network Operations, collaborating with clients on incident management, engaging with service fulfillment teams, and delivering business value to the project. Additionally, contributing towards process optimization, service improvements, and performance-related measurements/reporting is expected. Main Skill: 1. Provide end to end operational support for a hybrid Security, WAN, LAN (wired and wireless), and Cloud (IaaS) infrastructure operating in a 24x7x365 global environment. 2. Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Security and WAN-related incidents across a globally distributed network, ensuring high availability, resilience, and quick restoration of services. 3. Perform full cycle Incident Management, including technical investigation, ticket handling, root-cause analysis, participation in troubleshooting bridges, and driving timely resolution to restore normal operations. 4. Collaborate with hardware and technology vendors to diagnose and resolve issues 5. Support and maintain critical network services such as DNS, DHCP, AAA, RBAC and related infrastructure components. 6. Utilize AI-driven tools and analytics platforms to optimize service delivery, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance operational efficiency. 7. Apply hands-on knowledge of network monitoring and observability tools 8. Contribute to automation opportunities with agile mindset that reduce manual effort, streamline operations, and improve consistency and quality of service delivery. Main Skill Proficiency: P3+ with a minimum of 3 years of experience Additional Skills: 1. Strong knowledge of Firewall Security Networking concepts with good working experience with FortiGate and Palo firewalls 2. Expert hands-on knowledge in enterprise-level networking and excellent troubleshooting skills with good working experience with BGP, OSPF, and IP protocols in an MPLS and BGP environment 3. Comprehensive understanding of Layer 2 and 3 protocols 4. Working experience with encryption technologies/Virtual Private Networks 5. Working experience on Public Cloud AWS/Azure 6. Network Automation skill using Python, Ansible, or any other scripting language Educational Qualification (if required): 1. BE, BTech, MCA equivalent or above 2. Relevant network/cloud certification (preferable DevOps)
