Responsibility :
1.Cost Control & Strategic Analysis
- Lead the monthly cost closing process, including production data checking, the preparation and posting of cost-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Standard/Forecast) by different views, e.g. by cost group (materials, labor, and overheads), by production process, by functions, and etc; identify root causes for fluctuations; and prepare regular periodical reports.
- Monitor and control procurement costs by reviewing Purchase Orders (PO) and validating goods received against Material Receipts (MR) to ensure financial accuracy.
- Work closely with operation teams to evaluate and recommend cost-saving opportunities across manufacturing, supply chain, and administrative functions.
2.Inventory Management
- Oversee the company's inventory control procedures, including inventory reporting, provision and revaluation, obsolescence review, and etc.
- Monitor inventory changes. Analyze inventory aging and turnover rates; proactively identify and recommend provisions for obsolete, slow-moving, or excess stock.
- Ensure the accurate valuation of inventory in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
3.Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering
- Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting for P&L.
- Partner closely with Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions to challenge cost drivers, optimize resource allocation, improve financial-related performance and achieve KPI targets .
- Support commercial activities with accurate product costing, margin analysis, and pricing strategies for new and existing products.
- Perform ad-hoc analytical tasks cascaded down from global management.
4.Process Improvement & Compliance
- Maintain and improve standard costs within the SAP system to reflect current operational realities.
- Strengthen internal controls over inventory, purchasing, costing and reporting workflows to mitigate financial risks.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance cost accounting systems and digital reporting tools to improve data accuracy and decision-making speed.
5.Complete the temporary work tasks assigned by the superior leaders.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting or controlling in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost flows, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in SAP system.
- Advanced Excel skills are required (Power Query, Power BI, etc.). Experience with programming tools (Python or VBA) is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
