Job Summary:

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of mechanical presses and automated machinery, performing blueprint interpretation, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow documentation procedures accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

-Read and Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

-Operate mechanical presses and automated welding machinery.

-Safely use hand air tools, abrasive equipment, grinders, and other shop tools.

-Perform steel grinding, finishing, and other fabrication tasks as needed.

-Inspect materials and finished products for visual defects.

-Maintain compliance with company’s documentation requirements, completing all forms and records accurately.

-Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

-Ability to work a consistent schedule with occasional overtime as needed.

-Prior experience with blueprint reading and machine operation preferred but limited to.

-Strong Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and air power tools.

-Basic understanding of welding and grinding equipment.

-Good attention to detail and quality inspection skills.

-Ability to follow written instructions and complete required documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
• Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery, hand tools, and air-powered equipment.
• Regular bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and safely handle metal parts and materials.
• Visual ability to read blueprints, inspect products, and identify quality concerns.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely perform essential job functions.
