Overview: Who We Are Sunrun is on a mission to make solar energy affordable for more people. We help people upgrade their home to solar energy without the big upfront costs. The Project Finance Senior Associate reports to Sunrun’s San Francisco, CA office. Telecommuting is an option for this position.

Responsibilities:

Create and analyze financial models for portfolios of residential solar systems

Support investor due diligence and provide timely responses to due diligence inquiries

Assist with structuring and execution of project finance and corporate transactions

Analyze and report project profitability and return on investment

Collaborate with colleagues in various functional areas of company to meet operational and reporting requirements on transactions

Provide timely ad hoc analysis to support company financial planning and decision-making


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field

1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst in a renewable energy company or at a major investment bank or private equity firm, which must include financial modeling experience, including capital markets transactions, accretion/ dilution analysis, leveraged buyout valuations, and discounted cash flow analyses.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$74,572.31 to $99,429.75

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.  Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
