Summary: As a Security Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data in the cloud environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and security events to detect and respond to potential threats and anomalies. Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats. Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching and remediation efforts to address identified security weaknesses. Firewall and IDS/IPS Management: Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) to protect against unauthorized access and attacks. Security Policy Enforcement: Ensure that network security policies and procedures are adhered to and recommend improvements as necessary. Log Management: Collect, analyze, and retain logs from various network devices and security systems for audit and forensic purposes. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, configurations, and network changes. Prepare reports for management and compliance purposes. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of network and system operations. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the security posture. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Security Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud security technologies. - Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. - Experience with firewall configuration and management. - Knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems. - Familiarity with security incident response and management. - Understanding of encryption technologies and protocols. - Experience with vulnerability assessment and management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Security Operations. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A Bachelor or college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
