As a Duty Airport Manager on a shift basis, you will be responsible for managing Airport operations & business through the optimisation of safety, customer service delivery, on-time performance and financial & cost controls. You will contribute to the Airport team through effective leadership and recognition of staff and managing work functions across single or multiple terminals including the after-hours responsibility for Qantas operations in a complex environment with a high number of operational airlines.

You’ll have -

  • Operational management experience in a similar safety focussed industry
  • Highly developed people leadership skills including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development
  • Be customer focussed with excellent relationship building skills
  • Positive and analytical approach to problem solving and the capacity to produce results within specified timeframes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence positive outcomes at all levels
  • Commercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomes
  • Ability to focus on costs and work within a budgetary framework.
  • Proven track record of achieving KPI targets
  • Proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Demonstrated commitment to managing a safe workplace
  • Able to work under pressure in a constantly changing operational environment.
  • High standard of personal presentation and professional conduct
  • Rights to live and work in Hong Kong
  • Native level of local language proficiency is a must, as well as English proficiency
