The Vice President of Marketing Analytics will lead the analytics strategy for SharkNinja’s global marketing efforts, providing critical insights that drive decision-making across digital, social, and traditional media channels. Reporting to the SVP Media, this role is essential in transforming data into actionable insights that optimize marketing performance and guide investment strategies. The VP of Marketing Analytics will partner closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data to maximize ROI, drive consumer engagement, and ensure that SharkNinja’s marketing campaigns are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Leadership: Lead the development and execution of SharkNinja’s marketing analytics strategy. Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts who provide insight-driven recommendations to enhance marketing efforts across all channels.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with marketing, media, and digital teams to inform and optimize campaign strategies. Use data to understand consumer behavior, identify trends, and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across various platforms, including digital, social media, search, and traditional advertising.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and implement a comprehensive set of KPIs and metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns. Ensure that SharkNinja’s marketing spend is optimized and tied to quantifiable results, including increased revenue, improved brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Build and refine predictive models to forecast marketing performance, customer behavior, and campaign outcomes. Use machine learning and other advanced analytical techniques to enhance targeting, personalization, and media mix modeling.
  • Marketing Attribution: Oversee the development of multi-touch attribution models to assess the impact of each marketing touchpoint on conversion and sales. Provide insight into the customer journey to help guide investment in the most effective channels.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create real-time reporting and dashboard solutions that give leadership and cross-functional teams a clear view of marketing performance. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Media, Brand, E-commerce, and Product teams to ensure analytics are aligned with broader business objectives. Collaborate with the Finance team to assess the financial impact of marketing strategies and campaign investments.
  • Test & Learn Framework: Lead the development of a test-and-learn approach to marketing, utilizing A/B testing, experimentation, and incremental lift testing to continuously optimize marketing tactics. Implement strategies for rapid experimentation to drive performance improvements.
  • Technology & Tools: Oversee the marketing analytics technology stack, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and platforms to conduct advanced analysis and reporting. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure data infrastructure supports scalability and innovation in analytics.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Ensure the team is at the forefront of industry best practices and emerging trends in data and analytics.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or media industries.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and multi-touch attribution.
  • Strong proficiency in data tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven ability to turn complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business performance.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and working with senior executives.
  • Experience managing analytics for both digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
