ABOUT THE ROLE:

This specialized role is within the Technology operations group of The Trade Desk’s Engineering org. This group is focused on delivering world-class solutions for enterprise needs within The Trade Desk.  Technology driven business operations for enterprise teams like Sales, Business Development, Support, Marketing, Finance and others are key to scaling the business to its next level.  The TechOps group is fundamental to scaling the business via various types of technology solutions.

As a Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems space, you will be responsible for the strategic roadmap and its delivery for various business systems within The Trade Desk. As a leader of this space, you will be responsible for the team that delivers robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions on our enterprise systems. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to understand complex business requirements, translate them into comprehensive technical specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale projects. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise systems that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead the strategic design and architecture of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and industry best practices for key enterprise applications such as Salesforce, DocuSign CLM, ServiceNow, Jira, Anaplan and others. 
  • Collaborate with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and product managers to gather requirements and define high-level technical specifications. 
  • Develop a broad understanding of The Trade Desk’s business processes and key driving principles to design creative solutions for large scale problems that improve efficiency exponentially.
  • Champion innovative approaches and solutions to business challenges, leveraging technology offerings available in the space to drive business transformation and competitive advantage.
  • Continuously work with the Customer success teams of enterprise systems to drive meaningful changes in the product and to drive better utilization of a system’s capabilities towards customer goals.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and applications to augment out of the box capabilities of systems
  • Collaborate with the project management org for the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor a team of enterprise systems engineers and administrator fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee the integrations of various enterprise systems and applications to ensure seamless operational and data flow.
  • Build a robust usage management and ROI evaluation framework for The Trade Desk’s enterprise apps ecosystem to drive purchase and renewal decisions for each of these apps.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with two or more enterprise systems we use here at The Trade Desk such as Salesforce, DocuSign CLM, ServiceNow, Jira or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and development, with a proven track record of leading large-scale Salesforce implementations. 
  • Extensive experience working with Business stakeholders and executive leadership in driving theirs OKRs and goals into long term solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect is a big plus. 
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and similar is a big plus. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovatively. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$219,900$279,900 USD
