Overview:

Pure Technologies is seeking a process oriented, quality focused Production Technician to work with a fast paced and dynamic production group, to support development and manufacturing of Pure’s core technologies and tools to meet Pure’s expanding business needs. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Complete electro mechanical assemblies through in-house training and assembly documentation
• Maintain & update production related documents with accuracy and effectiveness
• Test products as required
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Able to lift 50 lbs. (on occasion)
• Cable and harness assembly (crimping, soldering)
• General shop tasks

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
• Able to follow complex and detailed technical documents with attention to procedure
• Disciplined work ethic displaying initiative & requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of electronic component assembly and wiring
• Experience with evolving production processes, improvements and implementations
• Able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years’ experience in small batch electronics and equipment manufacturing
• Grade 12 diploma
• Mechanical and/or Electronics background an asset
