What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) workloads, on-premises infrastructure, and will have substantial experience in managing large and complex IT projects, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions. This role will also involve significant stakeholder management and the ability to produce essential project artifacts. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in growing our account base and winning new business with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of M365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical best practices.
• Manage and deliver large, complex mergers and acquisitions IT projects with an emphasis on integrating diverse systems and infrastructures.
• Engage with project stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.
• Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), As-Built documents, and other technical artifacts as required.
• Conduct technical workshops to facilitate knowledge transfer and support project delivery.
• Provide expert guidance on on-premises infrastructure including Active Directory (AD), servers, network, End User Computing (EUC), applications, etc.
• Migrate legacy on-premises infrastructure to M365 workloads, including:
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive for Business
• Teams
• Entra ID
• Intune
• Plan and execute M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and assist in winning new business with existing clients.
• Mentor junior Architects and Consultants and lead the end-to-end technical Project execution

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in leading large and complex mergers and acquisitions IT projects.
• Deep understanding of overall project delivery processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with varied project stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive HLD, LLD, As-Built documents, and other technical artifacts.
• Experience in conducting technical workshops and training sessions.
• Extensive knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, including AD, servers, network, EUC, and applications.
• Expertise in all M365 workloads, particularly:
  • Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Teams
  • Entra ID
  • Intune, Application Packing, Windows 11 migration
• Experience in M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Proven track record of growing accounts and securing new business with existing clients.
• Azure Virtual Desktop experience is a plus.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• NV1 security clearance is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365 and related technologies.

• At least 10 years of IT consulting experience, with 5 years in a similar role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
