The IT Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for various duties within the IT Operations organization. Facilitates hardware, software and service contract renewals. Maintains database containing information regarding licenses and service agreements for the IT organization's hardware and software. Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization, co-terming and tracking.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with IT business owners on pending contract expiration dates to determine if there are any changes, terms required and appropriate course of action.  

• Update and maintain contract renewal database with pertinent information: financials, expiration dates, and documents

• Obtain quotes from vendor(s)

• Enter purchase requisitions and ensure adherence to RSM’s signature policy

• Work with appropriate teams and tools to complete license compliance checks and determine if a true-up is required

• Review new purchases to capture hardware and software asset information

• Work with Vendor Manager and sourcing on external audits, as needed

• Look for opportunities to co-term renewals and reduce cost, wherever possible

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Procurement,  Accounting, Finance or related business concentration or  equivalent experience

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

• Good understanding of Information Technology environment

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 

• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of professionalism

• Demonstrated excellent  interpersonal and communication skills  

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of experience in IT Procurement, IT Finance, Software Asset or IT Asset Management or like disciplines in a large-scale technology and data center environment
