Requirements

(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):

  • Serve as primary liaison between internal departments providing exceptional customer service.
  • Responds to in-coming customer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolving inquiries and discrepancies as they arise. Notify manager of any escalating issues as needed.
  • Engage manager as needed when working with team members.
  • Interact daily with customers, via e-mail and other communication mediums to successfully share and receive information.
  • Compile and report to upper management information regarding interests/concerns of customers.
  • Work with sales team on all assigned accounts.
  • Perform administrative functions as needed.
  • Create and maintain service/renewal reports.
  • Update and maintain customer data information in company’s customer relationship management database.
  • Work with management team to improve efficiencies in customer services processes.
  • Enter data in AMS system.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    (To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.)

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
    • At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience.
    • Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Excellent management of multiple tasks.
    • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
    • Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts.
    • Analysis skills – ability to review a problem and recommend appropriate solutions based on knowledge of job and company procedures.

    • Team player.
    • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently.

    • Strong computer skills – including all Microsoft Office software programs and industry specific computer software.

    • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    The expected salary range for this position is between:

    $16.00 - $22.00

    The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
