What you can expect

The Deal Desk Americas Lead plays a meaningful role in the Global Deal Desk function. The Deal Desk Americas Lead will structure and approve all significant transactions across the America's region and help craft deals that drive Zoom's revenue growth. This Lead will be the manager and point of escalation for the entire America's region/ team.

*This role can be based in America’s, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

About the Team

The Global Deal Desk team at Zoom sits within the Finance department. The team provides strategic, cross-functional, and comprehensive assistance to various teams. This includes sales contracting and financial compliance, process improvements, as well as building scalable solutions that help our sales teams and leadership make informed decisions. We are a distributed team with coverage across all geographies. We collaborate daily with most customer-oriented functions in the organization (Sales, Legal, Finance Revenue, and others).

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Deal Desk or a similar position

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant experience

  • Experience with Salesforce and CPQ experience (or other quoting tool) and understanding of revenue accounting fundamentals

  • Advance in drafting commercial terms and knowledge of deal economics

  • Experience with using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; Lucid chart is advantageous

  • Champion organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a dynamic environment with attention to detail

  • People management skills, including experience in mentoring, team leadership, and conflict resolution

  • Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional team

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$121,600.00

Maximum:

$266,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
