If so, this Portfolio Resource and Business Analyst role in a rapidly growing, empowered, innovative and agile Portfolio and Technology Delivery (PTD) organization developing transformative medicines within a vibrant GSK Boston hub could be an ideal opportunity to explore.

As a Portfolio Resource and Business Analyst, you will contribute to key business programs and analytics that support the Medicines Development and Supply (MDS) organization.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to coordinate and support key business activities while gaining knowledge of biopharma product development. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Assist in the collation of data that will be utilized to generate key business insights and recommendations to MDS leaders and influence business decisions and outcomes
  • Leverage modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business dashboards to effectively communicate and bring key insights to life for the business
  • Assists with data queries from database systems to provide ad-hoc project and resourcing analyses, insights, and recommendations
  • Design and manage dashboards that communicate key business insights for key stakeholders
  • Assist in the coordination and collation of key inputs to benchmarking exercises
  • Collates, tracks, and analyzes key departmental and MDS performance metrics, and manage associated reporting dashboards
  • Support in the design and/or simplify Project Management plan visuals, tools and libraries
  • Key contributor to the PTD Digital Fluency team.
  • Contribute to the development of Portfolio & Technology Delivery team processes, systems, templates, and reporting tools
  • Assist with additional Portfolio & Technology Delivery tasks as required

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Business such as a Business Analyst, Project Management, and/or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or related scientific discipline
  • 3 or more years of industry experience in an analytical role (Portfolio Analyst, Business Analyst or Scientist) or project/portfolio management
  • Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerBI and/or Spotfire
  • Strong data analytics skills
